Sword Art Online (SAO)

Kirito/Asuna

I'll try my best to summarize it and pack all of the most amazing moments in Sword Art Online at the same time. Here it goes.
The story starts with Kirito. He is one of the few beta testers selected for the game Sword Art Online. The game is an interactive world where you can log-in and your mind goes in the game, literally. The NervmeGear makes it all possible. After the game ended its beta phase, it was then released into all the game stores all over Japan. But not so long after they start the game, the creator of the game broadcasted his message to all the players. His message was that they can only log-out of the game if they finish all the levels in the game. So, all the players gathered and formed groups, alliances and guilds to finish the game faster. Kirito joined a group and after they defeated the boss in that floor, he met a girl named Asuna. He told Asuna before he left the group that she must always be strong and join a guild. Later,after some time in the higher floors of the game. He crossed paths again with her. Asuna is now the Vice Commander of the Guild Knights of Blood Oath. He was so surprised and told her that he cannot believe that she listened to his advice. They became friends and also partners mapping out the unexplored parts of the game. They battled many monsters and defeated them all. Then they fell inlove with each other and got married. They bought a house and lot in one of the peaceful floor of the game. While they were sightseeing and enjoying the sceneries. They saw a little girl lying in the woods. When she woke up, she said her name was Yui. She doesn't have any memories when she woke up. So they decided to take her to the land of beginnings. The first floor of the game. They discovered an unmapped place and decided to look at it. While they were exploring, they discovered that the place was a dungeon for high leveled monsters. Yui then realized what she was and killed the monster. She told Asuna and Kirito that she was an AI(Artificial Intelligence) that was supposed to be enforcing the rules of the game. But she did it the other way around. So, the game itself deleted Yui because of the laws and rules broken by her. They went back to the guild and the guildmaster told them that they will raid a boss dungeon. The battle was intense. Their numbers lowered tremendously. After they defeated the boss, Kirito suspected why only the Guild master the only one who was not down to the red level of his health after the hard battle. Kirito attacked the Guild Master and it did not affect him. The Guild master's true identity was revealed. He was the creator of the game. He told Kirito that if he could defeat him in a battle, they would clear the game. Kirito agreed and fought him. Kirito was outmatched, he was almost dead when Asuna covered him and got was killed by the guildmaster instead of him. Kirito was outraged. Nothing matters to him now, he slashes and does not even feel the hits he takes. He then landed a strike that killed the guildmaster and cleared the game. After clearing the game, he discovered that Asuna was in a hospital and he went there to see her. He saw a man talking with Asuna's dad and heard them talking about the marriage of the guy to Asuna. So, he opposed the decision. He discovered that the guy made Asuna a prisoner in another game. Kirito played the game and searched for Asuna. He met leafa, who also happens to be his little sister in real life. Leafa fell inlove with Kirito but she was heartbroken. She discovered that the guy she fell in love with is her big brother. She got over it and helped Kirito finish the game. The game was supposed to be unbeatable. But with the help of his friends and his sister, he broke the gate that finishes the game. He saw Asuna and the guy in the hospital. The guy sexually harassed Asuna. He got furious and killed him in the game. After that, in the real world. Kirito decided to visit Asuna. He saw the guy and he tried to kill Kirito. But he evaded and the guy got slashed instead. He was then arrested and brought into jail. The Government made a special school for those who have escaped the game Sword Art Online. Kirito and Asuna studied there while regaining their lost strength while they were bedridden when they were in the game. The two of them lived their real life happily after that.

Okay, I seriously think that I have not made a short summary as stated. But the awesomeness of the anime itself made me talk about it even more. So, try to watch this if you want a good anime to watch. I assure you, It's worth watching.

Hyouka (Ice Cream)

Characters:(left to right) Satoshi, Mayaka, Oreki, Chitanda

Hyouka starts from Oreki transferring to Kamiyama High to study for the whole school year. His sister who was an alumnus of the school and told him that he would have to join at least one club if he wants to study there. His sister suggested the Classic Literature Club not only because she was a member once but also to prevent the club from being dissolved. When he got there, he caught himself staring at the beautiful girl in the room. The name of the girl is Chitanda Eru, she came from a lineage of wealthy farmers and she also gets the top grades in class. Satoshi came later because he was busy with the student council work. The last one to join the club was Mayaka, she attended the same middle school with Oreki and Satoshi. After the club already gathered 4 members, they began acting as the Classic Literature Club but they caught themselves solving detective cases one after another because of Chitanda Eru. She can't stop thinking about one thing if it is bothering her and she always tell Oreki and the gang about it. Oreki, whose motto is  "If I don't have to do something, I won't, but if I have to, I'll do it quickly" ends up solving all the things Chitanda was curious about because he can't stand the non-stop muttering of "I can't stop thinking about it" by Chitanda. After all the cases and the events they have gone to, they end up solving the case of why Sekitani Jun was expelled from the school. (Jun Sekitani is Chitanda Eru's uncle and also an alumnus of the school who was the former president of the Classic Literature Club) They later realized that Jun Sekitani opposed and fought the decision of theschool to reduce the days of their culture fair from 5 days to 3 days. Though Chitanda and Oreki's feelings are obvious for one another, they can't seem to admit it themselves. It is an anime worthy to be watched.

So, that much sums all of it. Even though I didn't write some of the exciting parts when they were solving cases, I hope you guys still like it. And thanks for reading :)

Anohana (The Flower We Saw That Day)

When they were still kids, Menma and the others play together at the forest and built their first base there. They named their group 'The Peace Busters". Until one day, when they are having a talk, Anaru asked Jintan if he liked Menma. Jintan said "who would like that ugly girl?" but Menma only smiled at him. He blushed and to hide his embarassment, he rushed off to the woods. Menma ran after him and a tragic accident happened. She slipped and fell into the river. Menma died. After that, they all grew farther away from each other because of the accident. Years later, Menma showed herself as a ghost to Jintan. She said that he must grant her wish to go to heaven. After that, he tried to gather all the members of "The Peace Busters" again to try and figure out what is Menma's wish. They all tried to guess what is that wish. They are all having quarrels about Menma's ghost being true or not. But when they saw her handwriting on the diary telling that they all should stop quarreling, they all believed it. It seems that Menma's wish was also the wish of Jintan's mother, to make Jintan cry because she believed that he does not cry because he's trying not to cry for her mother's sake being at the hospital with a disease. Well, I could say that this is the most touching anime that I have watched. You will see all the hidden feelings of the characters about their friends. It will also tackle about how being friends are. If you like an anime that would make you cry, well, this is it! I definitely recommend it. 

Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin)

It is one of the most anticipated animes of 2013. Perhaps the most successful one. To be having more than hundreds of thousands of viewers of the first episode on the first day of release on just a single website. I wonder how many it could be if it is only exclusive to one site only? Maybe millions huh. Well I am also one of those who watched it at the first day of release. And I could say that it was worth waiting for. With the great plot and animation, people from around the world would be watching this with no fail. Eren Jaeger (the main character), discovered that he has the ability to transform into a titan (Huge human-like monster) and was considered to be the secret weapon of the human race and he seem to remember that in the past, his father injected him with something. He didn't know what it was or what it does but, it does not seem to have any effect until he became a titan. The secret to how he transformed into a titan lies beneath their old house which was destroyed by the titans. so, they conducted a special mission to retrieve the documents there. Because of him being able to transform, he is highly doubted by the people to be one of the enemies. As the story goes, he tries to gain the people's trust by helping them defeat their enemies. He also trains himself in order to fully control his newfound power. Well, this anime is one of my favorite animes of all time. Be sure to try watching it and before you know it, you're already anticipating this anime. Thanks.

Elfen Lied (Short Review)

This is my first time making a review for an anime. Please let me know if you have suggestions to make this better or if I have some problems concerning the making of this review. Thank you.

Elfen Lied

One of the few animes that almost made me cry (Well, in fact my eyes were teary when I finished it)
The story starts in a research facility with a masked girl (or something like a mask) with pink hair goes on a rampage and kills all people that she encountered and escaped from there. Then a boy found her on the beach naked and decided to bring her home treat her wounds. And then the research facility sent some people to take her down. As the story goes on and more things happen, the boy later realizes that the girl he took care of was the girl who took his parents' life. The story ends with a tragic ending (the girl sacrificed herself for the sake of the boy).  This is one hell of an anime. (I recommend it to those who love to watch tragedy and love story at the same time).
At first, I thought that this anime will only consist of blood and more blood. But as you go through the whole story, you
can find the meaning behind it. It has a very wide range of  genres put into it starting from Harem, Love story to Tragedy. (although you can't feel the Harem thing happening because of the intense scenes.) As you go on through the story, you'll feel like being sucked into its' greatness.  This is one great anime that you should never miss.
